There is this claim out there that one forgets the discomfort of childbirth (which is why people find it possible to return for multiple rounds), but there is hardly anyone who doesn't find a story in their birth experience.
If you have good recall and would like to jot down 100 words that encapsulates the birth of your child, you could enter Smith Magazine's "What's Your Pregnancy Story" contest and win a tidy collection of stuff both edible and readable.
