I'm selling a stunning, hard-to-find Alvina Valenta Couture Collection gown in beautiful "eggshell" color. It's a bridal size 16 (fits 12-14 street size and can be altered up or down a couple of sizes, too) and has been gently, professionally dry cleaned. It features loose pickups, anchored asymmetrically by a beautiful flower detail. The skirt flows from a flattering, beautifully sculpted waist. It's 100% silk with that rich Mikado pearl-like glow. It also has a built in slip and already-created bustling silk threads (in subtle pastel colors). I'll shamelessly report that people still tell me it's the most gorgeous wedding dress they ever saw.

I will also include, for free, the following coordinating items: my shrug, crinoline, and bridal corset (specially adapted for the dress - tiny patches of velcro were added to to the top of the corset and top interior of the dress to prevent slippage or show-through -- it worked so well I can't imagine doing it any other way!). All are professionally cleaned. I'm also including free, opulent wedding jewelry: either a white crystal & yellow gold necklace or a rich lake blue, yellow gold & white crystal necklace. I'll condense the story of why I desperately need to sell this dress: my mother, who was diagnosed w/cancer around time of my wedding, insisted on buying this incredible gown for me because she could not help in any other way. Even though she was sick, she did her best to make me feel proud and beautiful for my wedding when I was preoccupied with her rather than things like flower arrangements. I can't thank her enough, and it's because of her that I want to offer the dress for someone else's beautiful wedding and, hopefully, use whatever money I make to help her in return.

The dress itself was $3,800, and, with the extras like shrug, crinoline, corset, etc., ultimately ran around $4,500. This is a standard ballpark for Alvina Valenta dresses and, after wearing one, I can say that they're worth every penny. It was worn for only a few hours, and so I'm really hoping to recuperate around $2,000 + shipping, if at all possible, for her so that I can help her w/medical bills etc. I am also open to Best Offers.

I am selling the J Crew Celeste Pique Dot dress.

I originally bought it for $1500 and I'm selling it for $800. It is in FLAWLESS condition. I had it cleaned and I'd take it back to J Crew for a full refund if I still had the tags (that's how perfect it looks).

It comes with a keepsake bridal box from J Crew with acid free paper to prevent mold and decaying with storage.

The size listed on the dress is 2. I never altered it, and it was too big for me so it will fit up to a size 4 if not bigger. The only fitted part is the boobs, the rest is baggy. It has a built in corset with 2 settings, but I bought an additional corset from Nordstroms that I shimmied under to hold the dress up (cuz I had no time for alterations). I can send you the extra corset for FREE if you want it (it was $100).

If you wear a larger size I can try it on someone with your same measurements to make sure it'll fit. I'm sure a good dress place can make it larger though. It has a lot of fabric to work with. I'm sure it would fit up to a 34C depending on your rib size with no alterations. You'll just have some Victorian-era cleavage (which rocks!)

This is an ivory/cream colored short sleeve or off-the-shoulder dress. The tag says it's a size 10. I'm 5' 7" and weigh about 140 lbs. I wear a 38B bra, and the bust is a little snug for me. There is lace at the bottom of the dress, so ifto hem it, it would have to be done in the middle at the waist. This dress is beautifully white with a short train (already has bustle). On the bodice, there are crystals on the front and back that kind of look like a swirly vine. It zips in back and has mesh straps that taper in width as they go over the shoulder. The top of the dress goes straight across, not too high, not too low. Beautiful dress for a fall wedding (or any time of year!) This is a Maggie Sottero Couture dress, retails for about $1050. Size 6 on the tag, never altered. I usually wear about a size 6 or size 8 in street clothes, but because it has a corset back (very slimming!) you could be larger and still wear this. This dress is about right for a 5'6" gal in rather steep heels, or it can be shortened very easily. The cascade of fabric on the front can be removed and placed on the back, or not at all, if preferred. The dress is not usually quite this shiny, this is mostly due to the flash. It is THE fairy tale wedding gown; you remember back in the day of Diana & Charles? It has been preserved in an acid free container to prevent yellowing. I was saving it for my daughter, but regretably she informed me that she wanted to pick out her own. Of course these things break a mother's heart, but I know deep down that this is not the dress for her.

I'm not sure of the designer, but it is a size 8 and perfect for a 5'3 -5" gal needing a long white dress for a fall/winter date with the minister. The front details a high neck with dangling beading, ruffles on the shoulders and sleeves. Beads and sequins adorning the bodice and sleeves (which come to a V point on the hand). The back has satin buttons from the nape of the neck to the middle part of the back, then zips down to a small bow. The back bodice shines with sequins as well. The bottom is floor length satin with ruffles and bows and a train that reaches almost as long as Princess Di's gown. I really don't know what a gown like this is worth, but to a girl who only wants one wedding in her lifetime, this is it. My asking price is $250, but I won't turn down any reasonable offer.

Beautiful and elegant A-line halter top wedding gown by Mori Lee. The dress is made of heavy quality white satin, with tiny beads (silver, gold, and clear) forming a swirly pattern on the bodice and down the train. There is also a beaded panel inset into the front of the gown. It sounds very elaborate but the dress has in fact a rather simple, classy look.

I had the dress taken in slightly for my wedding, it will fit someone sized 6-8 as it is. You may need to have it hemmed up a bit, as I am quite tall. I'll be honest and say that before I even wore it for my wedding, a couple of the buttons down the back had fallen off, but should this happen again they were easy and inexpensive to replace. The dress was worn once then professionally cleaned after the wedding.

Stunning Janell Berté dress with 3/4 length sleeves. Gown is white silk with white and silver embroidery and subtle crystal work at the neck and sleeves. There are 5 layers underneath, though 3 of them are attached to the bottom half of the slip and could be easily removed if you wanted to adjust the fullness of the skirt.

Approximate measurements are W31" B36" and length from waist to hem of 46". The dress is still new, I ended up not wearing it, which means it was never tailored and the photos don’t show a perfect fit, but also means it can still be altered in both directions.

This gown is by JASMINE Couture, style no. 185. Gown was altered, worn once to my wedding. Original designer label is intact. Gown originally retails for $970.00 and is in excellent condition! This gown best suits someone 5'2" with 2" heels on (total height 5'4") or near that height. There is plenty of material that can be taken in, but your bust should measure 35.5-36" because the lace applique is hard to tailor if you need a more snug fit.

Size 10, gown is white duchess silk, with long, back bearing spaghetti straps! Stunning, incredibly sexy back view of gown! (see detail photos) The bodice is done entirely in lace appliqu�s , encrusted with white pearls and a few clear sequins. The silhouette of the gown is a princess silhouette, not as full as a ballgown silhouette. Gown is fully lined. Gown has a built-in layer of crinoline for added fullness. This layer of crinoline can be removed if you prefer. Gown is an informal or formal gown with barely a chapel length train, almost a sweep train, and the train has a built-in cloth loop to wear up as a stylish bustle. Could be easily worn as a 1st or 2nd wedding gown. Very sophisticated and elegant!

Alterations: Gown can be easily hemmed if you need it shortened. Bottom edge of gown is free of any detail or ornamentation so hemming is fairly easy. There are no imperfections or stains on the gown - only smudges of loose dust marks near the hemline from when I was in a courtyard having pictures taken.

Exquisite silk satin, chapel length, A-line, ivory-colored dress with two rows of large rhinestones above and directly beneath the bustline. Both rows of rhinestones continue around to the back and end in a low-cut V-shape. It comes with a stunning sheer ivory jacket rimmed with ivory ribbon, with a row of rhinestones at each elbow, and sleeves that flair out from the elbow to the wrist. The bottom of the jacket hem lies just beneath the shoulder blades in the back and is therefore fitted and looks, when worn, as if it is one piece with the dress. Without the jacket, the dress is a stunning strapless gown. I am also selling a sheer, chapel length, ivory-colored, tulle veil with a large comb, which I never wore.
